Located at 21^st and R Street, the B&B is just two blocks north of the Metro Station at Dupont Circle. Those attending conventions can walk in minutes to the Hilton Towers, Marriott Wardman or Omni Shoreham Hotels on Connecticut Ave, or for any other reason or destination, hop a ride on the Metro to the Convention Center, Smithsonian Museums, or White House. All of Washington is just minutes from our front door.

The Accommodations:

Visitors to Ivy Mansion can choose between 4 comfortable accommodations: The King Suite enjoys the entire third floor of the home. It's furnished with a king-size bed and provides a comfortable sitting area and luxurious private bath featuring a double vanity, walk-in shower and separate water closet. The second floor includes 2 guest rooms. These 2 rooms share a hall bath. One of the rooms is furnished with a queen-size bed, decorative fireplace and writing desk. The second room has a queen sized bed and a twin sized day bed, decorative fireplace and writing desk. Both rooms include complimentary wireless Internet access and TV with cable. Guest rooms in the main house enjoy a continental style breakfast each morning. The 4th accommodation is a private entranced furnished apartment-- details below.

Your hosts are long-time area residents with a love of the city’s cultural and historical attractions, who also revel in the political atmosphere of the District. They will be pleased to offer suggestions for local restaurants and shops, and will tell you how to get to any of the well - or lesser - known attractions in which you may have an interest. Just ask! Their helpful advice will help to make your visit to the Nation's Capital everything that you hope for.

A relaxed, self-catered continental breakfast is available each morning. Guests are free to take breakfast in the dining room or enjoy the morning sun on the small private porch. If you need more fuel to get you going in the morning, there are many great restaurants that serve full breakfast menus; one, called Teaism, is just a block from the house. Wireless Internet is offered throughout the home and the guest quarters include TVs with cable.

Dupont Circle is one of DC’s best walking neighborhoods. It's filled with many wonderful things to do and places to eat, all on safe, tree-lined streets enhanced by beautiful architecture.

New- Furnished Apartment at Ivy Mansion:

The Ivy Mansion now offers a fully furnished 1 bedroom apartment. The unit features a private entrance, large living room with exposed brick walls, separate bedroom with Queen sized bed, full bath, fully equipped galley kitchen, and small private patio. As with guest rooms in the B&B, the apartment includes wireless Internet and TV with cable.

Guests in the apartment enjoy full use of the kitchen, however unlike rooms in the B&B, no breakfast is served. The apartment includes all bed and bath linens, however daily housekeeping is not offered.

Reservations for the apartment require a minimum stay of 3 nights. Weekly and Monthly rates available.
