The Meridian Manor apartment offers the best of two of Washington’s finest neighborhoods, and (in addition to the B&B rooms upstairs) rents a one bedroom apartment at the garden level, or English Basement of the house. The Manor is at 16th and U Street, just at the boundary of Dupont Circle and the newly re-established U Street Corridor, known for its ultra hip jazz. Visitors will find this apartment exceptionally comfortable and convenient. Amenities include a queen-size bed, two color televisions with cable, a fully equipped kitchen and wireless Internet access.
Family Accommodations:
The Meridian Manor apartment has a private entrance and is furnished with a queen bed in the bedroom, a queen-sized sleeper sofa in the living room Maximum occupancy is three adults or 2 adults and 2 smaller children. The front entrance brings you into the large living/dining room with sitting area, TV with cable and a large dining table. Wireless Internet is available.
The bedroom is furnished with a queen-size sleigh bed and it also has a TV with cable. The bedroom is large and the apartment has a full bath and laundry facilities, here, just off the bedroom.
The fully equipped kitchen has all standard appliances, including: electric stove/oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, 
microwave and coffee maker. All of the cooking and eating utensils you'll need for your stay are provided, allowing for easy, inexpensive meals. There are two grocery stores within walking distance: Whole Foods, a premium grocery with organic, high quality foods, and Safeway, a more traditional grocery. Other necessities can be covered right in the neighborhood as well, with pharmacies, dry cleaners and convenience stores all nearby.
Unlike the Meridian Bed and Breakfast, the apartment is cleaned only prior to your arrival and after your departure: It does not include daily housekeeping. All bed and bath linens are provided. Breakfast is not normally included with the apartment, however, if your party would like to join in the breakfasts served upstairs in the B&B, that can be arranged for a small fee.
