How do I get to my B&B, Furnished Apartment or Vacation Rental?

The exact address for the Bed and Breakfast, Apartment or Vacation rental you choose will be provided with your confirmation from Bed and Breakfast DC. Please be sure to take your confirmation, and if you are driving, the driving directions with you. Most of the homes in our system are private residences. For the comfort of the owners as well as the comfort of guests, they do not publish their exact address, it is only provided with a confirmed reservation.

If you are traveling to your Bed and Breakfast or Apartment by car, we will provide you with driving directions that will take you from the major highways outside the city to the front door of the property. Your hosts will direct you to reserved parking, usually right behind the property.

If you are traveling from an Airport, Train or Bus station, there are generally at least 2 options for public transportation. Below are some options to get from the 3 airports that service Washington DC, as well as Union Station; Washington's train station, and the bus station.

Transportation from the Airports:
Taxi service is available from every airport. There are additional options specific to each airport detailed as follows.

  • Taxi service to most of the Bed and Breakfast homes in our system is about $25 for a party of 2
  • Metrorail service is available using the blue and yellow lines, connecting to all other lines in the city.
  • Supershuttle, a van service with door-to-door service, is about $14 per person and $10 for each additional person.

Most homes in the Capitol Hill, Logan Circle, Dupont Circle and Convention Center/Shaw neighborhoods can be reached by taxi  for fares in the $8-12 range. Traveling to Upper Northwest homes would likely be more in the range of $12-15.
  • Washington's Metrorail, subway provides access at Union Station with the Red line. Many of the B&B's located on Capitol Hill are within walking distance of Union Station.

Transportation from Washington's Bus station:
