This 1850 Federal townhouse, located adjacent to Federal Hill Park in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, this home stands out as one of the more prominent homes in the neighborhood. Federal Hill Park was an observation station to alert merchants that ships were arriving, and today overlooks Baltimore’s picturesque Inner Harbor. The Park is ideal for walking and jogging or just a picnic by the water. Several times a year concerts are held in the park and it is an ideal site for watching fireworks on the 4th of July. The town house was purchased by the present owners in 1991, renovated adding a new kitchen and bathrooms and decorated to their tastes in a traditional/ modern style with large comfortable chairs where one can relax and unwind or read for hours. The House retains the original woodwork and pine floors. There is a working fireplace in the den on the first floor and a decorative fireplace in the dining room. The rear yard features a lovely garden that guest can enjoy in the nice weather.
 The Accommodations:
The Federal Hill Town House is a small private home Bed and Breakfast offering just one guest room. The second accommodation includes a large, bright room with a king-sized bed, desk, comfortable easy chair, and bookcase filled with treasured reading. An en-suite bath with tub and shower is private for the room. An adjacent exercise area with exercise bicycle is available for guest use. A self-catered continental plus breakfast is available each morning.
Owners and Hosts:
Both of your hosts work in downtown Baltimore and frequently walk to their respective working environments. He is a financial advisor and has worked for a major brokerage company for over 20 years. He enjoys golf, power boating, gardening, cooking and appreciates the opportunity of meeting guests from all over the world. His wife runs “Marina Life”, a central slip reservation service for boats. She was formerly in marketing for a national corporation and she enjoys travel, music theater and as well, the chance to meet guests visiting from all over the world. She is fluent in Japanese and jogs in the park daily. Also in residence is their dog, a chocolate lab named Cally.
 Location:
One of the best locations in Baltimore, the Federal Hill neighborhood overlooks the Inner Harbor and is a 10-15 minute walk to the Inner Harbor, Convention Center, Ravens football stadium, Camden Yards and most of Baltimore’s attractions. The Light Rail and MARC train are within a 20-minute walk. The neighborhood boasts Cross Street Market; which has fresh fish, flowers, butcher shops, as well as stalls with already prepared food. There are many good restaurants, a microbrewery, two marinas, health club and outdoor swimming pool. Visitors arriving by car are provided with a permit allowing street parking where spaces are first come first served. A parking garage with off street parking for a fee, is just a 5 minute walk from the home, should you prefer to have ensure a confirmed parking space.
